- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆On 6-25-13 my experience with Bill Hovis the Eastern County Commissioner was lack of knowledge of roads in his district of Eastern Wayne County. The quality of his demeanor is 0 very poor and unfair and lacking knowledge of the conditions of roads in Eastern Wayne County. If a road is public, as Bill Hovis does consider County Road 334 to be, then to my knowledge that is a county road, and that it should be maintained by the county, and further more if there is a public cemetery at the end of that road it to should be maintained by the county all the way to the public cemetery. The Jones-Chesnick Cemetery is at the end of county road 334 the access there has never been maintained. Its not the American way to treat the access to our American cemetery's.By Margaret Webb, March 25, 2017
